Re-instating a former employee who can't log in

If a previous employee comes back, you don't need to set them up from scratch, you can re-enable their old profile. This article covers how to re-enable a user and what to do if their login still won't work.

Re-enable the existing profile

  1. Go to Admin → Users
  2. Untick Hide Disabled Users
  3. Find the former employee's disabled profile and choose to re-enable / activate it. 
  4. Ask them to log in using their existing email address, then use Forgot my Password on the login screen to set a new password. 
Good to know: The old user should be able to use the same email and password as before. If you're running into any issues with getting them up and running just reach out to our support team.
