How to end a recurring Task

In this article, we take you through the steps in stopping a task from recurring. This is useful for when a certain task is no longer recurring and you wish to get rid of it on Calendar.

Note: In this example we are ending a weekly recurring task that occurs on a Friday.

 


Step 1: Open the recurring Task you want to end

  1. Navigate to Scheduled Tasks OR go to the Job with the task that you'd like to send, then click on Scheduled Tasks
  2. Select the recurring Task you wish to end


Step 2: Edit the Task

  1. In the Task flyout, select Edit

Step 3: Select the scope of the edit

  1. Select The entire series

Step 4: Set an end date and save

  1. Scroll down to the bottom of the Task form
  2. Select the End Date you wish the Task to stop recurring on
  3. Scroll back to the top and select Save

Step 5: Confirm the Task has ended

  1. Select Show on Calendar

The final occurrence of the Task will display the end date you selected. Navigating to the following week in the Calendar will confirm the Task no longer appears.
