Calendar View options - Desktop

You can organise your Calendar by choosing your preferred view, selecting whose tasks to display, filtering by Status or Category, grouping tasks, and colour-coding them for quick visibility. Hover over any Task in the Calendar to quickly see its details at a glance.


Calendar Views

Step 1: Select your preferred view

  1. Select Calendar
  2. Choose from the following view options:
  • Day — view all tasks scheduled for a single day
  • Week — view tasks across the working week
  • Month — view tasks across the full month
  • Agenda — view tasks in a list format by date
  • Timeline — view tasks in a Gantt-style timeline layout


View Options

Step 2: Choose whose tasks to display

  1. Select View Options
  2. Choose to display:
    • Your tasks only
    • All Users tasks
    • An individual or selected Users' tasks
    • Tasks by User Role
    • Tasks by Contact Type (e.g. Contractors, Builders, Expert Plumbers)

🔸 Note: Contact Types can be customised via Lookup Lists in your setup checklist and assigned to your contacts. You can also assign tasks to contacts who aren't Users and view them by Contact Type.

Tick Unassigned to include tasks that haven't been assigned to anyone


Filters

Step 3: Filter by Status or Category

Filter by Status

  1. Select Filter by Status to show only tasks with a specific status (e.g. Completed, To Do, Ready to Bill)

Filter by Category

  1. Select Filter by Category to show only tasks assigned to a specific category (e.g. Foundation, Electrical, Plumbing)

🔸 Note: Task Statuses and Categories can be customised via Lookup Lists in your setup checklist.


Grouping

Step 4: Group your tasks

  1. Select Grouping
  2. Choose to group tasks by:
    • Assigned To
    • Status
    • Category


Colour Coding

Step 5: Colour your tasks

  1. Select Colour Tasks By
  2. Choose to colour tasks by:
    • Assigned To
    • Status
    • Category
    • Priority
    • None
