In this guide we'll show you how to create a 'Template' from an existing Quote. However, the process is the same for Quotes, Supplier Invoices and Invoices.
When making changes to a quote, it's important to note that the quote you are working on is Locked by you. That way no one else in your business can simultaneously make changes.
By clicking into a quote it gives you a range of template options, you can customize the layout, add new sections, re-order sections etc. Click on the main Header to edit the quote details.
Make any changes and Save.
You can also edit the quote header and/or footer information by clicking on either area. Edit the Section details and description. And add new items, as shown below:
Select Labour, Materials, Disbursements or Other.
In this example we selected materials, select the material from your list to add.
Tab through the line item to add the quantity and make any edits. You can also add other items that aren't in your NextMinute Sale Items, as shown below:
Select to show and hide the Buy Price & Markup, the Discount % and the Tax Rates as shown below:
Select to add a new Section as shown below:
Drag and drop a section to re-order sections as shown below:
Indent Sections to the left or right:
Import from a Quote, Order, Invoice, Supplier Invoice or Pre-Built Template. You can also delete a section.
Select the Print Options under Preview & Send to view the printing or column display options you want to use.
Firstly, select the section to set print options. Then select your desired printing options and choose how you want the quote template to display by checking desired columns to hide. Click Done after option changes.
Select Apply after all the changes have been made.
When you're happy and have completed all your necessary changes select Save.
