What you can't restrict: manual timesheet entry and client logins
Whether you can stop staff entering hours manually, and whether clients can log in to see their job's charges.
Some common requests to lock down what staff or clients can do in NextMinute aren't possible. This article explains what you can and can't restrict, and the closest option where there is one.
Can I make timesheets view-only for staff, so only admins can enter hours?
No. If a user has the timesheet feature turned on, they can still add hours. There's no setting that shows staff their timesheets while fully blocking them from entering hours manually, and no 'view only' timesheet option for non-admin users.
The closest option is to make a Time Range or the Timer mandatory for every time entry. Staff then can't just type in a total number of hours. Each entry needs a proper start and finish time, and they can still add a description of the work.

Can my clients log in to see the charges on their job?
No. NextMinute doesn't have a client portal, so clients can't log in to view charges building up on their job in real time.
