Can I load more than one price for the same material (RRP and promo pricing)?
Load one standard price and adjust it on the quote, or give each price level its own unique code.
You can, but we recommend loading one standard price (such as RRP) and adjusting the price on the quote when a promotion applies. Multiple prices for the same item make it easy for someone to pick the wrong one.
Recommended approach: one price, adjust on the quote
- Import your price book with the standard price only. See Importing materials/price books into NextMinute.
- When a promotion is running, build the quote as normal.
- Adjust the markup or sell price on the affected line items to match the promotional price. See How to set a markup for multiple line items.
If you do need several price levels
Each material needs a unique Code. To load the same product at different prices, give each version its own code, for example by adding a prefix such as LP- to the lowest-price version. Put the price level in the name too, so it's obvious in the search list.
Finding a supplier's materials after import
Go to Sale Items > Materials, click Filters > Supplier and select the supplier.
