  1. Apply all the print options ticked in the NextMinute Sales Invoice to the Xero Sales Invoice

    It would be good to have the print options that are ticked in the NextMinute Sales Invoice area to apply to the synced invoice in Xero. e.g. combine duplicate line items, show section descriptions etc.
    As we email all our sales invoices to customers via Xero, once an invoice is synced, we have to manually combine the duplicate line items, and enter the section descriptions.

  2. Specifications/selections on quotes - add photos/details

    On my old software, when quoting you could select a quoted item as a specification. This would allow me to add photos and details on that item to be displayed in a quote.

    They could also allow for selections so client can chose options.

    Separate area in quotes for Provisional / Prime cost sums.
    My old software, Buildxact when quoting they allowed you to select a item to be a Provisional Sum / Prime cost sum etc and then on the printed quote it outlined those sums separately so the client clearly knew what was an allowance sum and how much. With that feature they allowed you to disburse the markup from those item’s throughout the quote.

    Also being able to add a contingency sum at the end of a quote would be beneficial.

  4. Quote request function to send to subcontractors

    1 feature NM is missing compared to other project management software is quote request function to get stubbies to quote for sections on a quote.

    Everything in my quotes excluding labour I request prices for from my supplier or subcontractor.

  5. When syncing sales invoices with Xero also sync a copy of the NextMinute PDF sales invoice.

    We email all our sales invoices to customers via Xero as it gives them online payment options, currently not available in NextMinute.

    We are manually attaching a copy of the Nextminute PDF invoice to the Xero invoice by emailing a copy to our Xero email address. It would be good if the NextMinute PDF invoice was automatically attached to the invoice in Xero when the Sync occurs. Or alternatively it could be emailed to our Xero Files Inbox,

  7. Overdue Task List

    Ideally there would be an overdue Task List under the Scheduled Task Menu.

    I currently have no way to filter a list of overdue tasks to be able to manage these.

  8. Tasks - Quick access to update Schedule

    Change Schedule field to be editable on first level of screen like 'Current Status' on web version.

    You have to enter full edit mode to update Date & Time.

  9. Allow multiple email addresses per customer

    I have to send quotes and invoices to separate email addresses, it would be handy to either link them to automatically come up with the correct email address, or be able to have a list of email addresses so I can click on the correct one when sending.

    We currently use the notes feature to make materials lists on site but a checklist would be much more functional

  13. Badge on App Icon (iPhone & Android)

    Would be great to see a badge on the app icon in both Android and iOS to say when a job is running in the background. The number of times my staff and myself have forgotten to log out of a job is uncountable. A small badge, number, exclamation mark or whatever on the NextMinute app icon to serve as a reminder to log out of a job/task would be great!

    The web app has a "Timer Running" box in the top right that is a great visual reminder that one is still logged onto a particular job.

  14. Ability to set up reminders within a job

    Sometimes we have call out jobs where most of the job is sorted at the time but there may be a part that needs to be ordered to complete the rest of it. Would be nice to have a reminders tab on the job where you can set up a to do list. Eg: fixed all the issues but projector needs a new lamp. So if there was a to list on the job, you could add the projector lamp to the to do list with a reminder.

  15. Modify templates

    I would like the ability to control the look and content of my document and email templates as a feature request. In the previous software I was able to change all of it as I pleased. It seems that NM is using word as well. I was able to download the template, make adjustments and upload back into my system.

    set up the calander view like google calanders
    - rather then having all details compressed only having the option to put curser over task jobs to the view details

    • google calendar gives you full visibility to view jobs task with out having to put curser over
    • also having functions for the system to set up reminders and follow ups so you can veiw this on calanders, or for it to send reminders,
    • having options for to do list within software

    we are having to use multiple data bases to use these functions rather have all in the one platform
