In this article we take you through the steps of creating a new labour, material or disbursement item within the sale items search fly-out. This is useful for quickly creating a new item you don't have when adding items to charges. You can do this when adding charges to a job, adding a timesheet entry or adding sale items to your quotes, invoices, supplier invoices and orders.
Note: In this example we creating sale items when adding new items to a Quote
Step 1: Navigate to Accounts and select Quotes
Step 2: Within your Quote select + Add a new item
Step 3: Select Labour, Materials or Disbursements to create new Sale item
Create Labour item
From here you can then create your new Labour Item. Then fill out the form as required and Save.
Create Material item
From here you can create your new Material item. Then fill out the form as required and Save.
Create Disbursement item
From here you can create your new Disbursement item. Then fill out the form as required and Save.
